Tracey Williams is a mother of two grown children and a grandmother to four grandchildren. She has over twenty year’s personal experience of an addiction lifestyle with all the shame and drudgery that accompanies it. From this experience, she lives and breathes the phrase, “We can recover!” Tracey is grateful for her beautiful life of addiction recovery and its restorative blessings.
Tracey has been an active student at the University of Utah since 2012 working towards certification to become a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. She is also looking forward to pursuing a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
Tracey began working in the Addiction Recovery industry at New Roads Treatment Center as a Mentor. This is where her true desire began to continue her education and pursue a career helping others with substance abuse disorders. From there she worked at Nexstep handling a variety of responsibilities including Psych Tech, Admissions and Marketing. Tracey is grateful for the opportunity to help so many families and individuals struggling with addiction and witnessing the true miracle of change. Tracey’s compassion is strong with a desire to help others find a life worth living “free” from addiction.
